The Fedup Experience

(For clarity: I, he, we, and us refers to the same individual – me, Brent, the founder of Fedup Sheep and author of all its works)

Here we’ll cover the ABC’s of what you get and how to get it, printing permissions, translation permissions, and payment options.

At Fedup Sheep, by default, we believe we can trust our fellow family members (subscribers in internet lingo). You’re here because you’re a different breed of character, and won’t go round sharing links and downloads with others who can’t be bothered being a part of our community, nor paying the small prices for our work, but have no problem usurping it, changing it, and even presenting it as their own.

You have developed a little place in your heart for the author, and realize what it’s taken him to get to this point. Hence, you won’t take advantage of his trust, nor see his generosity as a weakness to exploit.

Of course, there’s nothing I can do about it should things prove otherwise, but you’d have to live with that side of yourself, not me.

The short version:

  • Fedup Sheep provides free and paid-for content, consisting of creative prose, poetry, and the occasional short fiction, presented in publications, via a newsletter, called Bleet! (read The Spark and the What the FAQ! on our webpage for more clarity regarding our aim, purpose, and intention, so I don’t have to repeat it here)
  • Joining the Fedup Family is free, and always will be. All that’s needed is an email.
  • Bleet! contains links to free reading as well as publications for purchase.
  • There are no subscriptions, apart from the free sign-up; it’s all pay-as-you-go.
  • All our work is available to anyone from our webpage, but Family members will have certain advantages.
  • You have (limited) permissions to print our work.
  • You have (limited) permission to translate our work.
  • You can unsubscribe from Fedup Sheep at any time.

The details:

  1. All our free stuff is available on our blog, Substack, Tuhat, X, Telegram & UpScrolling. You can download it, print it, share it, make a poster out of it… whatever. All I ask is that you at least show who you got it from, and adding a link to my website would be nice. But you do not have permission to sell it.
  2. NONE of my work is available in any retail outlets (Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo, Barnes and Noble, etc.), except, maybe, some free stuff to get attention1. Should you find them there, then you’re purchasing from one of those shallow, unethical, usurper-types, lacking what it takes to come up with their own stuff.
  3. Joining the Fedup Family is free, and always will be. There’s no hidden costs. Once pushing “join,” you’ll receive a conformation email, to make sure it’s the right place to send Bleet!
  4. By joining the Fedup Family, you acknowledge that:
  • This is a business model, and I don’t live from air alone.
  • I’ll be providing premium content for purchase (at non-premium prices. See farther down for details).
  • Purchasing something regularly would be nice.
  1. Knowledge is the property of no one, and to charge for that would be fraud. The small fee you’re paying is for the years of experience that’s difficult (though not impossible) to find elsewhere, the originality of the work (that you won’t find elsewhere), and the effort and time in writing, editing, formatting, and designing the works, and maintaining this platform. Or the service, in economic lingo.
  2. You’ll receive 1 email a month. If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll know that I keep things short. If you’re not familiar with my work… well… I keep things short because you have things to do instead of sitting here reading five million words.
  3. We will (or do our best to) produce at least 1 publication for purchase per month. But, depending on circumstances, health, etc. at the time, we may produce more, or none.
  4. All monthly publications are priced at $2 (see Fedup Payments for details). By “publication,” we mean any length of work under the label: “Something to Graze On” (in the newsletter). It could be a thousand words, several thousands words long, a few hundred, or even a single poem.
  5. All books, collections, and anything else (that’s generally considered “a book” in modern terms) under the label “The Fedup Shelf” (in the newsletter) are priced from $3-8, depending on length, research involved, etc. Find out more in Fedup Payments.
  6. There’s no signup or membership besides the free sign-up to Bleet!, and you’ll always have access to all our content should you wish to purchase at a later date. Neither will Fedup Sheep bug you with blinking specials, countdowns or discounts, although reminders of all our available works will always be mentioned in the newsletter.
  7. All my premium content (PDF) is stored on my personal Proton Drive. Upon successful payment, you will be redirected to a direct link there.

Printing Permissions:

Presently, Print on Demand (POD) is not a viable option, so we give (limited) printing permissions to rightful purchasers of our work. Limited, because I still own the intellectual rights, even if you may disagree with the term “intellectual.” Where “rightful purchasers” are those who purchased via our email. This is a highly unusual practice, but with a little effort:

  • You’ll be eliminating delivery times, costs, and environmental damage incurred if I offered the usual print-on-demand (POD) option that’s widely used today.
  • You can form your Fedup Sheep collection on the paper of your choice, the binding of your choice, and all at a fraction of the cost of POD.
  • If you’re up for it, you can print and bind the books yourself (there are videos on YouTube). You’ll be a pro in no time! You can even make the paper yourself from recycled paper, and even grasses, leaves, bark, etc. from your (or someone else’s) garden, for a truly bespoke, natural look and feel.
  • As your Fedup Sheep collection grows, you’ll be the envy of your family and friends.

As a rightful purchaser, you have permission to print a copy for yourself.

You DO NOT have permission to print for friends, family, neighbours, anyone who asks, your pets, or anyone (or anything) you may know living beyond planet earth, anywhere in the universe. Neither may you mass produce, distribute, nor sell any of our works.

The size of all our publications are standardized. This helps maintain uniformity across different screen sizes and also, should you wish to print them, a standardized stack in your bookcase.

The size is Digest: 14×19 cm/5.8×8 inches. Or a little smaller than A5. It’s formatted and print ready, whether on a home printer or a local printing/school photocopy business.

Translation Permissions:

Fedup Sheep gives permission to translate all our work within the framework set out here. If you are not in accordance with this, you do not have permission to translate my work.

About Payments:

Fedup Sheep accepts credit & debit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, AliPay. We also accept USDT & USDC on several networks. We also accept donations!

Did I mention we accept donations?

We do. We accept donations!

Please read Fedup Payments for the details, the various options (because, depending on where you live, you might not have any), and how we plan to bypass government, financial, and corporate restrictions to make Fedup Sheep available to anyone with an internet connection.

Finally:

You can unsubscribe from Fedup Sheep at any time by hitting the “unsubscribe” button at the very bottom of every email. We won’t bug you with questionnaires about why, nor “for our statistics…” and you will never hear from us again. We’ll miss you, but we won’t hold it against you. Seriously! We won’t. Honest!

And finally, finally

This User Agreement (and it’s attached pages) serves as an ethical and moral handshake between Fedup Sheep and yourself, and is active from the date of publication (July 2026). By joining the Fedup Family, you accept, even though not necessarily agreeing to, all of the above (and the attached pages). Fedup Sheep reserves the right to modify anything in this Agreement, and Family members (subscribers) will be notified via the newsletter. Should you disagree with anything, you can unsubscribe, and you’ll never hear from us again.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Fedup Sheep
